The Book of Enoch 105
How to read these pages: the text itself comes first, verse by verse, in the volume's own translation. Beneath each verse stands its Meaning — a rendering of what the passage's terms name in the inner life, drawn from the correspondences the text itself uses. The text is never altered; the meaning is offered, not imposed.
Charles translation (1917)
1In those days the Lord bade (them) to summon and testify to the children of earth concerning their wisdom: Show (it) unto them; for ye are their guides, and a recompense over the whole earth.
In those days the indwelling LORD bade them to summon and testify to the children of earth — the states born of the outer realm — concerning their wisdom: Show it unto them, for you are their guides, and a recompense over the whole outer world.
2For I and My son will be united with them for ever in the paths of uprightness in their lives; and ye shall have peace: rejoice, ye children of uprightness. Amen.
For I and My son will be united with them for ever in the paths of uprightness in their lives; and you shall have peace — rest within the divine order: rejoice, you children of uprightness. Amen.
